‘Hops for Heroes’ – World Beer Awards Celebration Raises Money for a Veterans Nonprofit
Recently, at Jack Rose Dining Saloon with the support of the World Beer Awards, Procurus, USA held another successful charity event, during which, $545 was raised for Project Welcome Home Troops.
Project Welcome Home Troops, a D.C.-based veterans service organization, provides no-cost workshops for returning service members. The classes are aimed at improving their quality of life with safe and effective techniques for stress relief, greater health, and empowerment.
Mark Stoneman, Managing Director for Procurus, USA and retired U.S. Army Major, had used their services and credits them with helping him when he returned home from multiple combat tours.
Along with a World Whiskey Awards event also at Jack Rose Dining Saloon earlier this year, Procurus, USA has been able to raise over $3000 for Project Welcome Home Troops in 2017.
